The Four Agreements and How it Can Lead to Business Success

The Four Agreements is a book written by don Miguel Ruiz in 1997. Not only is it a guide for personal freedom but also a journey towards business success. To operate efficiently, both leaders and employees need to work closely together towards better communication. We tend to run our businesses with purpose and intent; however, there are other considerations.

  1. Be Impeccable With Your Word – Tell the truth speaking with honesty and integrity. It’s all about creating trust. Create a  positive reputation.
  2. Don’t Take Anything Personally – We tend to think the world revolves around us. Hearing criticism can be hurtful. Instead, focus on a better way for the business to operate. Put the best interest of your business first.
  3. Don’t Make Assumptions – It’s better to know the facts before making decisions. Ask questions and communicate clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
  4. Always Do Your Best –To have a thriving career, always put your best foot forward.

If you are positive and put forth the best effort, that will translate to your work and your ultimate customers. It’s time to take committed action towards your success.
